In April 2003, Herald
Media and SK Telecom entered into an exclusive agreement to
jointly launch "Korea Herald Premium Service," English-language
education services for digital generations. The integrated
service, which bundles educational content for various types
of digital tools, brings together daily news content, audio
versions of articles, and translations of content from The
Korea Herald, as well as English-language instruction tutorials
and testing services. All of the services can be accessed
via the Internet, multimedia-capable mobile phones and other
high-tech digital tools, such as PDAs and MP3 players. Developed
and managed by Digital Herald Inc., "Korea Herald Premium
Service" was successfully launched in June 2003.
